So I figured I'd start my duos series off with the best - Gohan and Piccolo. Piccolo helped train Gohan to be the great that he is today, and in return he was rewarded with his first true friendship. Too good.
In this drawing I tried to represent the transition piccolo made from half-good to truly good by meeting Gohan. Below them is "evil" and above is "good" and they're floating inbetween. Of course, Gohan's freaked out that they're floating around in the clouds, and Piccolo is annoyed by it, but they're a good team! Really! xD Most memorable scene with Piccolo and Gohan? For me it was when Gohan asks Piccolo to make him a set of Piccolo clothes to wear, after they get out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Its my fav 'cause it shows how much Gohan appreciates everything Piccolo's done for him. ~~~ Well, this one was fun and interesting to do, but took forever! only about 90 minutes to sketch it up, but then re-inking it with colored inks took a LOT longer than I thought it would - about 3 hours!
